My name is Ken Timmerman, I am the new president of Robbinsdale Little League.  Last year you & Tim Keefe (former president) had exchanged emails regarding potentially helping us with the Woodbat Tournament.  I believe by that time we had already filled all of our slots.

I am contacting you to see if your association would have any interest in helping in this years Woodbat tournament.  It will be held from August 4th to August 8th at fields in Robbinsdale, Plymouth, and Brooklyn Center.  As I believe you know, this is a charity tournament, all of the proceeds go to Cancer Fund at Children’s Hospital.  Last year we raised over $2000 for the Cancer fund.  As a charity tournament, we ask that our umpires donate their time.

Please let me know if you would have any interest in helping us with this.  It is always a great tournament, the Woodbats are a blast, and you get to help out a great cause while having fun.

You can contact me at this email address or at 763-516-7298.

Best Regards,

Chuck:
Just a brief note of thanks for running a fine clinic 17 April.  It was very informative and those that helped you contributed greatly to the success of the clinic.
I appreciate your allowing Mark to contribute his experience with ladies fastpitch.  Other clinics I have attended never offer this and it was beneficial to learn about the differences in the rules to give,at least, a basic knowledge of fastpitch softball.   I'm confident I could preside over a fastpitch game quite confidently.
This clinic was well worth the investment of my time and money.
Looking forward to a great season.

Hey Chuck,

Just wanted to let you know how helpful the umpire clinic was yesterday. I didn't think there was much more that I could learn, but I was pleasantly surprised. The inside portion was great to touch up on some of the specifics and also to learn some new rules. The outside portion was equally as beneficial. The softball umpire did a great job explaining the difference in rules to the baseball umpires and I am well prepared to umpire the softball games now. The entire clinic was well worth my time and money! I am looking forward to a great season of umpiring!

Thanks!

To post a game you want out of, email Chuck to post it here

The Wayzata High School field is hard to find as it can not be seen from the school parking lot.
If you could get a message to your umps to drive in the main entrance and park by the football stadium.  They will see a paved path at the East end of the football field that leads past the flag pole and into the woods.  That path goes to the Freshman field.

The location of Hawks Memorial  field is directly behind the Hamel downtown  buildings. So behind the Inn Kahoots and Post Office.  The main street is torn up, so to get to field the umpire will need to come from the East on Hamel Road or up Sioux Drive from the North. Please contact me on my cell 612-910-9426 or at the number below to confirm.  I will call you if I don't hear from someone by this evening
